Cosmic Nitro advertisement

Not sure if this has been brought up, but the Cosmic Nitro ad is sometimes linking to Days of Thunder.

Maybe it has to do with the script that rotates them, or some weird cache problem in Firefox (v3.0.8)?

Happened for me on this thread:
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showth...t=1664&page=14

It links to:
http://toucharcade.com/adp/adpeeps.p...efault&ver=2.0

The image location is:
http://toucharcade.com/adp/adpeeps.p...efault&ver=2.0

I haven't been able to reproduce it, but it happened while I had multiple tabs open. I generally open 5-6 threads at a time in different tabs. The ad that linked to Days of Thunder was in the last one I read, but the first one I opened.

Games I highly recommend: CozyQuest, Gemmed, Jabeh, Blue Defense, Blue Attack, geoDefense, Hospital Havoc

just tried it myself and it seemed to work correctly. so the urls are right. Other than that it might be a weird cache issue.

let me know if you notice it again.

I see the problem now.

The link never changes, even when the ad rotates.

The ads don't rotate every refresh, they tend to stick around and then eventually change.
(Just something I noticed, doesn't have anything to do with the problem.)

If that change happens and you still have a page open from before the change, the old ad will now link to the new one.

Steps
  1. Open a thread with either Days of Thunder or Cosmic Nitro.
  2. Open other forum threads in another tab, until the ad changes.
  3. Go back to the first thread and click the link.
  4. Old ad now links to new ad.
