I sort of missed Labyrinth 2's amazing tridimensional board effect for a second or two, but once I got in the game, I really appreciated this one's craftsmanship. I especially like how the ball rolls a bit slower than its competitor, so that careful maneuvers are easier to operate. L2's manic ball is too much for me to handle, even though it might be closer to real physics, and so I don't experience as much fun as I'd wish. No such problem with The Labyrinth, as of yet. The game is hard but fair.
I also really appreciate how it renders through Retina Pad, on the iPad. If this title turns up to be a keeper, I just might grab the HD version.
