Your Date & Time settings are wrong. This usually happens when syncing with a computer that has incorrect clock settings.

Not counting the return of bitizen cycling, I'm not sure where it's at right now as I've not been interested enough to sit there and play the game continuously long enough to gather any meaningful data. When the game first launched, between elevator bux tips, waldo missions, and triple stocking bonuses, it averaged around 1 bux for every ~3 minutes IN game. I expect it's around that still although since the launch they've tweaked the elevator bux tip rate and, while I don't know of any official statements, it looks like they've adjusted the rate of waldo missions: it started out as about once every six minutes on the dot, they seem to have upped the rate when they nerfed the dream job bonus, but now that they've returned the infamous bitizen engine, just not as effective, it looks like waldo missions are either back to their former rate, or maybe even less frequent (I got a whole one in playing on and off for an hour on the exercise bike this morning). Regardless of the exact current rate, you should certainly be able to accumulate the 3-5 bux it takes to unlock a costume in less than 20 minutes which seems like a fine investment/reward ratio in my book. Lots and lots of impatient people out there when, really, they've now given us almost everything anyone ever wanted:

- more or less custom bitizen editing
- faster, more accurate elevator
- customizable business stock levels
- for those with the patience, the return of "infinite" bux generation from bitizen cycling once your tower gets high enough*

About the only thing of note still missing to the base game is color picking for floor painting and/or bitizen costumes. Beyond those leftovers, this update really extends the "things to do" in game and addresses almost every suggestion, constructive or whiny, made beyond the "I want everything now for free" and, well, not really anything you can do about that.

* For those who are excited to resume grinding bitizens dream jobs, the tipping point from where it's a cost to where it starts to break even/profit is around floor 70. 2 bux is probably the better compromize. At 2 bux for placing a dream jobber, it's still going to be a pretty high tower (~105 floors) before I'd really say you can start to call it profitable to spend your time cycling bitizens. On the other hand, at this rate of return/break even, all those who claimed they only enjoyed doing it for the sake of filling their businesses with dream jobbers should be able to return to that "noble" goal without breaking the bank.

We haven't adjusted the probabilities of anything bux related in this update.

Things in 1.3.1 being submitted today:
- Fixed a bug slowing sales while the app is open.
- Fixed a bug where Real Estate moved in bitizens all had the same dream job.
- Fixed a bug which hid speech bubbles behind tall costumes.

Anyone else aware of any other issues in 1.3 we need to address?

Fair enough, the RNG gods were unkind, not like that hasn't happened to me before

Just some thoughts on what "could" improve the game in my eyes. Obviously there are my opinion.

- You should add a basement, and with the right amount of bux, be able to buy an air conditioning unit, and a heating unit. Then bitizens could post in the bitbook that "Their floor feels like the arctic" or " My floor feels like the surface of the sun", you then click on one of the 2 appliances and find the appropiate floor, and get a bux for doing it.

- I would also add a snack machine in the lobby(since it already has it) and have the same rules apply, a person says something generic in bitbook like "I'm getting really hungry" you click on it, and you get some money.

I would have the a/c & heating one have a per limit hour basis, and have the snack machine one be unlimited since it's only cash. This would be something that people who play the game more intensely, gives them something else to do, while for the people who play it casually, don't have to have it.

Where's waldo gets extremely difficult when you hit the higher floors. Maybe a little bit more of a bonus for finding the bitizen would be nice. How about:

1-50 floors = 1 bux
51-100 floors = 2 bux
101+ floors = 3 bux

Since there are only 137 floors there would be no need to reward more than 3 bux for players who have built past that and have empty floors.

Tower organization and bitizen dressing can make the Waldo game much easier!

I have my tower organized. Apartments make up the top floors followed by businesses in order they appear in the stats page, organized alphabetically. How do you suggest I organize it to make bitizens easier to find ?

The common way I've heard is to group the stores by category (food, service, &c), and then color-code the bitizens to match their category (have everyone in food wear green, creative orange, &c). Then you're just searching in 1/5 of your stores.

And with the costumes, pick a store for each costume. Have everyone in your casino be a ninja, and everyone in rock climbing be a plumber. That'll narrow it down, plus make it more obvious if you end up having to look through residences.
