I think it's called an hdmi out cable. The user Connector is the master of all things hdmi out, so if you have any questions, I reccomend asking him.

Take a look at the HDMI TOC (Table of Contents) and you should find most of the info you want. There are lists like airplay widescreen games, icade buying guides, hdmi buying info, etc, that will help you out.

The kinda funny thing is, you can go to my title underneath my handle and go directly there with the link, which is quite interesting. I just wish I could somehow link to the chatroom that way too.

There is also a wireless way to get to a tv, however there is a quite alot of delay and lag for mirrored games called appletv, here is a good link.

We are uploading all kinds of videos to compare ipad 3 and ipad 4 hdmi since they are completely different in 30 pin and lightning hdmi, cause lightning hdmi is now some weird airplay based format, not true hdmi.

They also make regular old school AV cables if you have an older TV without HDMI support.
