Was excited to see James Pond coming back, but not impressed that they dumped the classic platforming for... a side-scrolling shmup?

This is NOT James Pond. JP IS A platforming gem series and just became kind of a legend, because it was a fantastic platforming series. But people also love to play Sonic racing games So.... it might find its audience. I'm not part of it.

James Pond 3 was the best, anyone who says Robocod is a liar.

Still interested in this just because it's JP, but I'd much rather have remakes of the old games.

Does anyone have any impressions on this game?

On the fence, hesitant without impressions
