Hey, try changing you name temporarily and check what happens. That would be interesting.
Or disable GC. I have a big GC problem with War Grimoire. In the same moment I am logging into GC, the menu screen crashes. So it could be GC or the iOS.

Easy:

1. open the GC application
2. tap the "Account: [Email]" field
3. tap "check" or "log in" (dunno what you have in English)
4. enter password (same as your iTunes account)
5. scroll down to GameCenter identity
6. change your GC name
7. tap "done"
8. log out

If you want to change your real name:

1. go one more step down
2. tap "edit account data" (under GC identity)
3. change your real name
4. tap "done"

But beware - your real name under your billing information in your iTunes account will also change to the new "real name". Doesn't matter if you use gift cards as payment, not good if you're using a credit card.

Won't affect your other games, just change your name back into the former one.
Didn't work... hmm... that's bad. But I am still suspecting GC as cause of your bug. I think that other people are having this bug, too and the devs are already informed. Maybe you should wait until a hotfix comes, or you might refund your game.

How do you actually invite a friend for async multiplayer? I never get a list of anyone, it just says "open." Does a GC friend need to be online at the time of the invite?

Is anyone else having the following problem:

When in an online game, the system never allows my opponent to take a turn. I just get turn after turn until I win.
