I saw this mentioned a few weeks ago. Wasn't expecting it to be free !!!!!!
I have picked up. Not played before (as I dont own a Mac) but heard it is good so will give it a go. May also opt for the HD version. |

Oh, that's cool. I don't have an iPad, so I didn't download the app. I started playing Marathon in 1994... I even made maps for it. Heh, I remember when I first saw the demo online. I didn't download it right away. I was like, "I don't care about a running game."
![]() Is this an unofficial project or is Bungie involved? Maybe the existence of this app will help motivate Microsoft to port Halo to iOS

I am really surprised how smoothly this plays. I bought the MC mode which is awesome, however can someone list what each symbol in that mode means? I know the last is save.

If its at all within possibility, for future updates this game desperately needs a feature where you can drag the fire button to aim while firing, and then it resets when you release. This is how most new FPS on the iPad function and it makes aiming far more fluid, which would be very important in Marathon as the enemies do not really stand still for you like some games.
Aside from that complaint, the game ran buttery smooth well done. |

How so? I can't be bummed that the game I spent my youth playing as a multiplayer game doesn't have multiplayer?

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't thought of this scheme, might be useful. However, ammo is scarce so you'd have to be careful. Did you try "Tap to Shoot" in the settings? Best, -dan |

Wow I really don't know how I missed that. Yeah that works in a pretty similar way and definitely helps me a lot, thanks.
