You play as an Earth Defense Force pilot in the XR-7 Blaster Ship, rocketing behind enemy lines and shooting at any Alien targets that come your way.Your objective: to blast your way through alien squadrons, asteroid fields, guarded alien factories and, ultimately, to the Alien Queen. Destroy her before squadrons of Alien Fighters destroy you!

Blaster Ship! has an animated cartoon style, with a touch of BOOM! when comes to blowing up alien spaceships.

- Use your thumb (or finger) and drag your Blaster Ship Fighter to move and shoot simultaneously.
-Hit Alien ships to gain upgrades to weapons or shields, or to add a life.
-Tap the Blue Attention button in the Menu to access game play information.
-Your Score and Hi Scores are displayed during game play.
-Fly through 5 environments, 12 levels in all.
-Defeat Alien scout ships, asteroids, fighter ships, dreadnaughts and more.
-Some will take 1 hit to kill, some will take more hits. All are deadly.

There are 4 rules to remember: 1. Destroy the aliens, 2. Avoid getting shot, 3. Upgrade your weapons and, above all else, 4. SURVIVE!

This game is for iPhone 3GS/iPod Touch 3rd generation and up. Be sure to have the latest iOS update.

Any chance of a "lite" version in the works?
I like the backdrop art, not sure about the ship.

Sorry to be the one to say this, but forum rules do not allow you to ask for promo codes from the devs.

I see what you mean, syntheticvoid. DeathSmiles does look HOT! I'm checking it out myself. $5 ain't bad, especially compared to my measly $2 ($.99 til July).

I actually think the graphics look very cool. I am worried the gameplay might be a little one-note, however. The video didn't show much in the way of diversity; mostly just one enemy onscreen at a time. Could be alright if some enemies are more complex than others, I'm just a little unsure if there's much happening beyond what's in the video.
