Older "Must Have" Free Games?

Some of those are duplicates, and there's a few that I'm not sure are permenantly free.

I'll vouch for Mechanic Panic though. That game is awesome and should absolutely be picked up while free.

Yes. Mechanic Panic is absolutely amazing and underrated.

If I recall correctly Sky Force and Crimsonworlds are only free temporarily. Mechanic Panic also but +1 for recommending it.

Cash machine (previously linked above) is a real thinking man's match 3 and a good pick-up if a "thinking man's match 3" holds any appeal.

I hope people are only posting games that stayed on their devices a while and got real play time . . . otherwise thread gets less useful -- I mean there are 1000s of free games.

I agree. I hope the thread also keeps to the "must have" theme, instead of anything thats free...

I was just coming back to post that...very good game. Several other games he posted were good as well.

- Glyphia is a good Joust clone (keeper!)
- Piczle Lines is a good little puzzler with great production values...looks like something you'd see on DS
- Crimsonworld, Mechanic Panic and Sky Force are all great, but are all temporarily free

I didn't care for Jump Puzzle, WackaMonsta or MeWantBamboo. Star Rider has great art, but it's not nearly as good as MegaJump which is already on the list.

Most folks seem to be holding true to this. As I try games out and am impressed by them, I move them toward the upper half of the list, so hopefully that helps a bit.

If folks would hit the star ratings on the games in the OP as they try them, or even give me suggestions on which ones to weed out, I'm happy to edit the list.
