App description: Flu Fighter is a fun, classic-styled puzzle game thats perfect for quick games to pass the time, or long challenges to improve your skill.

Heres the deal: Youre a big-shot doctor, and youre pretty darn good at it. A patient comes in and complains of a headache, chills, fever, and coughing. After a closer look, you know what it is. THE FLU! Time to jump into action and administer the antivirus.

Use your antivirus capsules to eradicate the influenza viruses. Match FOUR or more colors either horizontally or vertically to delete them. Each level is complete when all of the viruses have been defeated. You can score more points with combinations, by deleting several sets of colors in one move.

Use the swipe controls to control your descending capsule. Swipe left or right to move the capsule, tap either side of the screen to rotate it, drag down to quicken the fall, or swipe up to slam it down.

You can also track your high scores locally on your phone, against your Game Center or Facebook friends to see how you hold up against the rest of the world.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go get em, Flu Fighter.

Hey everyone, we're SO happy to announce that our first app is now live in the App Store!
It's called Flu Fighter, and it's a great puzzle game similar to Dr Mario

We've worked very hard on it, and would love your feedback so we can continue to improve it!
Thanks, and please enjoy!

It looks nice!

$1.99 - 3.6 MB

Control (from game description): Use the swipe controls to control your descending capsule. Swipe left or right to move the capsule, tap either side of the screen to rotate it, drag down to quicken the fall, or swipe up to slam it down.

PS: I hope you don't mind the linked image above. Let me know.

(I probably should have done that ,eh?

Here are the controls

"Use the swipe controls to control your descending capsule. Swipe left or right to move the capsule, tap either side of the screen to rotate it, drag down to quicken the fall, or swipe up to slam it down."

I bought this game this morning and like it very much so far.

A couple things of note:

The controls are good, but they take some getting used to... and this is coming from someone who is fond of the iPhone version of Tetris. It seems to be somewhat easy to mistakenly rotate a piece when you mean to swipe left or right. I guess maybe short swipes are registering as taps instead of swipes. This isn't a big deal, but any smoothing out of this process would be a welcome improvement.

The other thing I'll note is that while I am thrilled that this game comes complete with sounds and music, the music is extremely repetitive. It seems to loop very quickly. I'm not sure how long I'd want to listen to the chosen theme song. Maybe more options can be added in the future.

Other than that, I would definitely recommend Flu Fighter to fans of Dr. Mario or anyone who is into these types of games. With nice graphics that really stand out and an uncluttered interface, this variation is really well done.

OK. I've purchased it.

Right now it's just a 2/5 mainly because it can't resume. This is simply essential!

In addition, an alternative control (like buttons to move left/right or at least areas of the screen to move left/right and rotate) would be more than welcome. The current works but just tapping seems to be more precise.

Finally, the game is not colorblind aware.

Other than that the game is polished with nice graphics, interface, subtle sounds, music (a bit repetitive) and online high score.

Thanks for the feedback! Resume is already in the works and should be apart of the first major update!
Also, the music is hopefully going to be replaced.. we're polishing up a track or two to add to the game.
