Palm Heroes 2 is free for the ipad, Palm Heroes 2 Deluxe is $4.99 for the ipad just like the iphone/ipod version.

To answer my own question... on iPad "The deluxe version comes with 20 pre-bundled maps and discounts on extra map packs!" while regular does not.

I watched the review... And I'm still in the dark as to how this game really is. Is this worth the 5$ for the iPhone version? Seems like it might be hard to control with the smaller screen?

Not at all... Just bought it for Ipod 4.

Plays awesome. The only downside is the battle seqences are a little small but it zooms in when focusing/attacking.

Loving the improvement over Palm Heroes 1. Great Work Guys!!

Well guys, to sort out some mysteries:

1) Yes, this version is the same as the Deluxe version for the iPad, only for iphone

2) No, it is not hard to play it on the smaller screen.

3) Yes, it looks good on iphone 4.

4) Yes, it runs on iphone 3G and it even runs GOOD on it.

5) Extra maps are IAPs. Casual gamer does not need all of them, and a fan is already picky, so you can choose yourself whatever style/size of maps you like more. All maps would cost around 35$, but I never saw anyone who could finish them all... There are more maps than anyone would ever need.

6) If there ever be a free version (I hope so), the IAPs would be more expensive for the free version.
