Have you ever played Zoop? Color Shot is an addictive touch version of this mid 90's arcade game.

Color shot is an addictive game where you have to prove your skills and your reflexes.

Your goal is to prevent the tiles from reaching the central area shooting to destroy them. Use your finger to create color shots that will destroy any tile of the same color.

I just rediscovered this very classy Zoop clone. I don't think it's retina enabled but still a darn solid/fun game that works fine on iOS 6 (also, being from 2011, clearly not stretching for iPhone 5).
