App description: Aemula Oldies S is a game pack of classic DOS games. Playing a game is just one tap away. You don't need to enter any command. It provides joystick, gamepad for playing these old games on iPhone.

litchie's comments:
Aemula Oldies S is a game pack of classic DOS games. It inherits the look and feel of iDOS, but the core is entirely different.

Happy Christmas!

Gave it a quick try (iPhone4). Works nicely. Great to see emulation of DOS classics on Smartphones.

Wow, thanks Litchie! What a nice surprise to wake up to in the morning. I had about 20 minutes to play it before work and I can say this is definitely an improvement on iDOS for playability on iPhone.

I'm happy to see that you got an iPhone version out. I have quite a few friends with iPhones but not iPads. I'm going to tell them all to go get it now.

@MrJR Glad that you like it. Actually I prefer to play on iPhone now, mostly because of the weight.

I'd like to hear some feedback from iPhone 4S users. I am not sure if the emu core work stably on it.

I have a 4s. It generally runs pretty smoothly, but I have noticed the framerate drop down. I'll try to test it some more to see if I can detail when it happens.

Registered to thank you for making this. Catacomb Abyss and Commander Keen were my two favorite games growing up. Hadn't played either in YEARS!

I do have a question, though. Can you manually add games to the app like you can with iMAME? I'd love to put Pyramids of Egypt or some other of my old favorites on there. If not, it's still amazing, just thought I'd check!
