All those wednesday nights hoping that Prevail or Pocket Heroes will finally drop, well, this is a rather good substitute
![]() The price point worries me. I'll probably pay it without hesitation, but should it be so high that the game does badly, Namco Bandai might blame the technical limitations of the platform (touch controls, small screen, all the usual tired anti-mobile gaming propaganda ), instead of the limitations on what users of the platform are willing to spend, and the actual price point itself. And if they do, it might influence their decisions not to port (or even create) other games for iOS.Also, while I certainly believe the game is worth this much, a price point comparison with Volt (which, personal preference and graphics aside, is probably on a reasonably similar level in terms of sophistication and popularity, with less moves and single player content but still more tactical choices and options for strategy, being based on SF IV and all, and sporting online multiplayer as a very hard selling point) will leave Soul Calibur looking like a far less appealing alternative. Well, regardless, together with SF/Volt (and boosted by some smaller but still pleasant fighting experiences for iOS, such as Fight Night, MMA and Bruce Lee), we can finally say with pride and finality that fighting fans can indeed have quite a lot of fun on iOS

And physical controls is only a selling point for those who actually prefer them, which you might be surprised to find not all of us do ![]() But yeah, see my reasoning on the price point in the post above yours. It does worry me, not for the sake of my own wallet, but for the success of the game. And yeah, someone needs to say it (again) : boy, if I EVER wanted online multiplayer in an iOS game, this is the one...

Doesn't the original iPAd have 1/2 the ram of the iphone 4?

But it has the same amount as the iTouch.

If it plays exactly like the Dreamcast original then the price is well worth it. I purchased a Dreamcast just by seeing it running in a game shop.
However, if any compromises are made or content reduced for this iOS version then we have a problem. |

It does but that didn't stop Rockstar from releasing GTA3 for it. How can it be that a 13 year old game can't be optimized for 256MB of RAM? There's a lot of iPad 1 owners that aren't going to be happy about this or the prescient it's setting.
