Arabian Tiles: Universal Puzzle Game

Arabian Tiles is an innovative take on puzzle games for iOS devices. Press down on the gorgeously designed arabian tiles. Be mindful of the dust! Pressing down on three tiles the same color or more reveals what is under them! But be wary, the colors change quickly! Select rows of disks to activate powerups, combos, color combos, chains, and reveal coins.
It is simple to play, but the game can get intense if you are looking for a challenge.
The coins collected will allow upgrades in the store to further enhance gameplay!
Will you unlock all the secrets of the arabian tomb?

The app features:
* Three exciting modes:
Classic mode : Can you get the score required in time?
Blitz Mode: Get a quick fix of Arabian Tiles.
Arcade Mode: You have 3 seconds to collect disks. Each disk you collect adds more time. How long can you last? Higher levels increase the coin drop rates.
Higher levels also get much harder!

* Three difficulty levels, easy, medium, and expert. Higher difficulties double and triple the amount of coins collected!
*Multiple level environments and powers. Will you unlock them all?
* An epic soundtrack created by DJ Zlarke. Different level environments have their own specific soundtrack!

And I used HY9PRTJWEFJT, thanks! I just played for a 10 minutes and it was pretty fun. The swiping works well and is satisfying. I like the overall ambience.

However, it was frustrating when tiles suddenly changed underneath my finger as I was doing a swipe, and that happened a lot. At first I thought it was a bug until I re-read your description.

Also, it's really hard at first. I think if it's going to start you out with only 4 seconds on the clock, it should give you a little extra time (like 3, 2, 1, go!) to stare at the board. As it is, you lose before you can even take in everything on the screen. When I did finally win the first level on easy (arcade mode) I accidentally touched something and didn't get to see the victory message, but maybe that was just bad luck.

Just my first impressions.

@big friendly giant We really appreciate the impressions! You should probably start with classic mode or the tutorial until you pick up your speed.
The reason we made the pieces change under your finger is, it's a risk vs. reward thing. You could go for the big 8 tile move but you risk not getting anything. The other option is you could instead go for shorter, safer ones like 4's and 5's but get less reward.

The longer you pay the faster you get at selecting them. However harder modes and higher levels in arcade mode get pretty fast.

Also, we can add a "3, 2, 1, Go!" timer in the next update

Gotcha, I just played on classic for a while and it was much less stressful for me as a new player.

Ok, that makes sense and it stopped bothering me once I got that. Maybe after playing a while I could get better at predicting when the change happens and use that information to play better.

Another simple idea might just be to start the timer after the first swipe.

Btw, I think I found an exploit. Maybe this is by design though... If you double-tap to replace tiles immediately after swiping, the exact same tiles will reappear instead of a new random set. I started using that to do the exact same combo multiple times in a row. I was only quick enough to do it on easy though.

Anyway, thanks again for the code! It's a fun game.
