just got it and played a few rounds, reminds me of an old favorite of mine from NES days, Rolling Thunder. I'm going to play a few more rounds, but i like what i've seen so far!

I agree with this.

Very nice animations and solid controls, only played three levels, seems like a nice and polished platformer to me so far.

The video quips alone are just about enough to sell me on giving this ago. Only reservation: the on-screen buttons appear to be a copy/paste/reskin from Helium Boy which is a sign of laziness. Still, most likely will pick this up. Is there any IAP?

What a cool game. The touch controls work well and the platforming is really solid. Get it, definitely.
