Looks like someone has finally released a Picross 3D clone. I'm ToftT. Be back with details in a bit.
Edit: definitely worth the price of admission, if not more. The presentation is great. There is nothing confusing about the game. It plays almost identical to Picross 3D....almost. I already emailed the devs asking if they can implement these changes: 1. The ability to "hold to break". Right now holding down on a block just grabs the entire set so it can be rotated. Maybe a double tap and hold would work for clearing out those long lines of 0 block segments or marking a section. 2. The ability to adjust the rotation speed. It's set on MEGA HIGH as a default. Not game breaking, but a tweak would be great. Overall the game is nice and I recommend to any fan of Picross. Last edited by panama chief; 05-17-2012 at 06:21 AM.. |

Great game! So far it plays just like Picross 3D (NDS). Just finished all of the Easy levels and now on to the Normal levels.
If you like this game you may also want to check out pixross - The 3D Picross [HD] and Qube Logic Lite (for some reason the full version of the game is missing from the store ).

I decided to buy this game this morning, although I've not had much time to play (work gets in the way), other than the quick tutorial. Looks good though.

This is not getting anywhere near enough the attention it should be getting.
I'm almost halfway through the game, and have already had hours of gameplay from it. So much content. I love the treasure chests. Such a nice touch. Lots of attention to detail..I love the way the objects jump around after you discover them. |

Great game with excellent presentation and enjoyable puzzles. Sometimes I find it requires multiple taps to select a cube and Game Center support would be nice, but is not that necessary here. Otherwise, simply fantastic!
Edit: I have finished the easy levels and played a bunch of normal difficulty puzzles now. In general, the difficulty remains easy for me. Some folks have commented on controls and I find that if you rotate the pieces so that the faces are pretty much directly aimed at your view, selection works accurately and reliably. I continue to come back to this game again and again. This is really an excellent and relaxing puzzler! Last edited by slewis7; 05-24-2012 at 09:08 AM.. Reason: More comments! |

Maybe one suggestion for a new mode is an endless mode with one life, where random levels are given to you. And to keep the game not going for too long..give a time limit (scaled with difficulty or puzzle?) so people can't take forever? Thanks for the update! And looking forward to new..and hopefully more difficult puzzles. =) Last edited by tops2; 06-13-2012 at 09:29 AM.. |
