Terrible screen shots!

I've played the boardgame before but I'm not even interested in picking this up if I can't even see a clear picture of the UI.

This coming from someone who buys damn near every decent boardgame on the appstore as soon as they are released :/

Sounds like a lite version (plus Game Center and online mp) will be comin at some point.

Hazienda HD will be published in a series of releases including official “Lite” version. Full version of Hazienda will allow:

single player mode (with Artificial Inteligence)
pass and play mode (multiplayer on a single device)
multiplayer mode (synchronous and asynchronous)
two basic maps (more to come)
version for left-handed
support of Game Center

I'd never played the game before, but I love Euro games, so I went ahead and got it. I played through the tutorial, and feel like I have a nice grasp of the game. There were a couple of quirks...one time it said to buy a hacienda, but didn't highlight which icon it was. It didn't take a genius to figure out it was the house icon, though. There is also an extensive help section accessible on the home screen and from within the game at any time. The board does seem a bit zoomed out, but I assume that was a deliberate design choice, so that you can always see the entire board at all times. Early impressions are quite positive, but you can wait for the lite version if you aren't sure.

I bought the game too. The tutorial is very good (some minor issues as noted above) but really gives a great grasp of the game. I had never played it before but was fine after the tutorial and game with rules.

The only thing i'm confused about is the scoring. I know how it works, but the first phase the points do not add up all the time.

It seems like there is an extra point given to the players total during phase one sometimes. I have no clue where it's coming from, did I miss it or is this a bug? If anyone knows why, let me know!

I quite like the game, easy not complex like some of the euros. Graphics look fine, a little dull but very adequate.


Edit, I think it s scoring right now since I was forgetting about the 1 point for every 10 money, it just wasn't shown on the summary so I was confused!

Well ... ok ... marketing is not the best ... but the game is really great ...

So far, after two games ... no bugs found (in gameplay) no crashes and good AI (three levels) ...
