New Name, New game, New Trailer! (Battle Universe)

Hello my Name is Larry and im a part of a (very)small team in London. called BadBotGames
I've always wanted to make a fighting game for ios that felt like a real console game, but didnt have large buttons all over the screen and just felt natural to play on a touch screen. this games mostly been inspired by other games like Street fighter, Tekken, the Naruto Ultimate ninja storm series and even god of war in some parts (bosses).
the control scheme is very intuitive, you can relax and have an intense match with the AI using only one finger if you want (no IB swipes), or hold it in both hands for a more concentrated experience.

I'm pleased to announce that it is now finished, and will be on the app store under the name 'BATTLE UNIVERSE'!


its a 3d Fighting Game,
with an epic story mode and intense over-the-top action!
the controls are touch screen based, (no IB swipes)
the Fight Mechanics & gameplay AAA

you play as one of several Heroes/Villains who enter a tournament to gain
'Ultimate Power'.

Well the framerate looks terrible even in the trailer,hope you guys spend sometime optimising it,nobody will actually buy a laggy game.

but the game looks super cool kind of like a hybrid of dbz and street fighter,great work.

heard about this app from a friend... he's really looking forward to it... i might just try to get a glimpse of it while he play... better than screenshots and reviews... lol

@Sidgoku123 Thanks!, unfortunately the video editing software is the cause of the lag, the game runs perfectly fine on the ios devices.

we're currently optimizing the game to run at a high framerate level on the 3gs before release. so no worries

Heres a Level for Battle Universe. its called 'the professors ship'. (its also used in the trailer)

the professor is a mad military scientist who discovers the 'ultimate power' that the characters will fight for.

and a screenshot taken from the ipad 3, where you fight on top of a flying ship. the levels that you fight in in this game are intended to be cinematic and intense, with something always going on in the background.

Still waiting for the app store approval, there's a few gameplay surprises ive left in the game, so don't expect to be just fighting in the story mode. im also working on updates and extra bosses, game modes and improved textures. expect it on the app store any day now, ill be posting some promo codes on release!
