I noticed while browsing the Sega blog today while looking for iOS android games that I found that Virtual Fighter Five Final Showdown shows up in the tags of the website, now I know that this is pure speculation but Jet Set Radio also showed up with the same tags before it got announced here is the link for proof : http://blogs.sega.com/category/iphone-ipod-games/
