Excellent game slick controls, a lot of fun and don't worry you can still play without making a bunch of IAP plus the boss fights are crazy

Thanks for the post, Sink. And we're really glad to hear you're enjoying it, Dreadnok - the positive feedback makes it all worthwhile

Surprisingly nice little game. I would have much preferred a purchase price and better reward balance as opposed to one steering you towards IAP. Frame rate begins to suffer with increased enemies on screen.

In case people don't realize, this is from the creators of Bathtime Boogie, a deceptively simple-looking shmup that made the rounds of the Bullet Hell Fanatics group.
Like Gabrien said, the IAP push is disappointing, but the gameplay and pedigree is there. |

Thanks for the feedback guys!
Yeah, the IAP balance is always a really tough one as a developer. With Space Inflaters, our first priority was to try and make something cool that anyone could download for free, and through effort and/or skillful play, be able to unlock all the content available without absolutely having to spend money. From our perspective, it really just means that a much wider audience can have the game, but the folks who have a dollar or two to spend on extras can still do so. In saying that, we're always trying to improve the reward balance and sincerely take all the feedback from you guys with great consideration. P.S. awesome to see Bathtime Boogie mentioned- still has a special place in my heart

I enjoyed testing this game! Refreshingly different take on the regular shooter. I like the way when you shoot the baddies they inflate and become pickups themselves afterwards. The action gets frantic with so many things on the screen at the same time and the difficulty ramps up considerably, but not overly so. Colorful, fun game for anyone IMO.

So, I've now played this for about 20-30 minutes, aaaaand...
Oh yeah! This is the kind of game that makes the phrase, "casual gaming" a good thing! ![]() Cute? Check. Novel? Check. Easy to pick up and play? Check. Learning curve is challenging but not frustrating? Check. Upgrades are attainable without excessive grinding? Check. IAPs are more a way of supporting the developer than making the game playable? Check. Good work! ![]() Who says there's no originality left in the world? DBC |
