Everything in the game seems to be called "missing lang"

Don't worry anybody who want's to buy this, it doesn't affect the gameplay at all
And i'm sure ratrod studios will fix this asap.

Just had a word with ratrod studios and the bug has probably something to do with ios 6.0
In ios 5x they do not have this problem.
They are working on a solution right now!

Anyway, after playing this a while i must say it's an exellent game. Absolutely love it! Great graphics, great gameplay, a lot of customisation.....love it!

Best drifting game ever was Need for Speed Underground 2. I was in the top ten on the playstation leader boards for ever! Spent many hours getting to know every setup and every tweek, every car and every track.

I still play NFSU2 now and then, if this can even be half as good I will be a very happy camper!!! I liked the first game drift mania, but it didn't feel right for me. I'm hoping this is different, downloading now!

Post a update later tonight after I get some time with it.

Ok, my text bug is fixed!
Pat from ratrodstudio came with the solution.

My ipad os language is set in dutch and that was the problem for me. After setting it on english and redownloaded the game everything was perfect!

So people who's iphone/ipad/ipod is set in another language than english 'could' have the same problem than me.
Just set it in english, redownload the game and everything will be fine!
after that you can change your idevice back to your own language. Eveything will still be ok.
The devs are working on a patch right now.

Btw, the game is freakin' amazing

Sorry to say this, but this game sucks. I hate, hate... HATE tilt only controls!!!!

Yes the options say you can do a wheel, but even on med sensitivity it's way too sensitive and on min the steering is broken... You turn the wheel and nothing happens. So that leaves us with the only real option of tilt controls.

I hate tilt, it sucks in racing games and MOST others as well. Hope to see arrow buttons in the next update so I can play it, as it looks very well done with a ton of polish.....

Controls can make or break a game, not polish.

Also I remember what felt "off" about the last DMC. The car feels like it has no weight, so when you start drifting if you just let off on the gas the car will stop. It should push it's self through the turn a little more then it does. IMHO

This also messes with the wheel steering option, because the way the e brake is on the gas side (kind of no other choice,) so when you let off the gas starting a corner to touch the e brake the car almost stops within a half second... I think the weight would push the car through the start of the turn even if you let off the gas for a half second. This is mostly only a problem when you want to steer with the wheel.

The game really seems built for tilt steering only, and that works OK, but if you HATE tilt steering it will probably ruin the experience.

I really want to love this game, I'll put in more time and maybe be able to over come the wacky weight issue with always being on the gas.

In most drifting games you can enter a turn fast, let off the gas totally then punch the gas for a wide turn to kick the rear end out, or for a sharp turn let off the gas, tap the e-brake then go hard on the gas to kick the ass end out. With this game the physics do not seem the have any weight and as soon as you let off the gas the car stops.....

I'll put in more time and see if it user error

Also a game like this really needs a quick restart button

First you said there is no other Control System then Accekerometer and I thought...

...and now you are saying that it`s not working?

Just train a little bit on the Practice. I`m sure you will sooner do your 100.000 Points rounds then I can count 3...2...1...Go down

I agree with sanuku!
At first i also had problems with the wheel (i also hate tilt controls) but after some practice i managed to get in the 100.000 points frequently.
Also, after i upgraded some parts, the car "feels" a lot better in handling.
Af far as controls go:
Maybe a new controls option with left/right arrows for steering would also be a good idea devs
