Skylanders Battlegrounds is the "premier Skylanders iOS game experience", The game will be sold via a special Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack, which includes the Bluetooth Portal of Power, three Skylanders iOS apps (Cloud Patrol, Lost Islands Kingdom and Battlegrounds), an iOS-exclusive Platinum Treasure Chest to unlock digital items, and three Skylanders figures: Cynder, Jet-Vac and a Special Edition Royal Double Trouble.

The pack will cost £39.99.

The game could release as early as next Friday.

According to our source, Skylanders Battlegrounds has been developed exclusively for iOS and will not see an Android release.

Any more info on this? The Skylanders Giants game is officially out now, so these ios spinoffs should hopefully be out soon too.
