River City Ransom

Is there any chance we might see this in an ios version ever?

How I wish... Either it or a game in its vein. It's a shame no one seems to want to ape that game design either as I love that style of game. Heck, I'd even take a port of the Scott Pilgrim XBLA game as that was a decent RCR styled game!

I always put this game's name on "games you wish to be on ios" threads, i love it to death. It was made by Technos, a japanese company that canned a while ago. Maybe the guys that made the Double Dragon ios game could cook something up, that game was made by that same company.

Nothing would make me happier than having this amazing gem on mu phone/ipad, lets hope it happens?

Favorite games: LittleWing Crystal Caliburn, Legends of Yore, Hook Worlds, Phoenix HD, DoDonPachi Resurrection, Spectral Souls, Bastion, Avadon, Dariusburst SP, Aquaria, King of Dragon Pass & Starbase Orion

It's too bad Nintendo doesn't put out a legit NES emulator and start charging for those old games. I'm sure that would make a lot of (non-jailbroken) iOS users pretty happy.

They have no interest in doing that.

Bumping this old thread because I've been hankering to find a game like RCR on iOS and apparently I found one!

Trigger City, which seems heavily inspired by RCR...
