Thats if its around in a few weeks, if Disney arent involved then the devs have taken a huge risk using a Jungle Book character. Is it licensed ?

Default Caution about this game

This game was for sale on sellmyapp website, and I purchased it.

Guess what, in the source code is a copyright notice from 'tang' and I google that and I see the code is licensable on Code Canyon for $12 - and that a user Nip was on code canyon asking tang for enhancements, like iPhone 5 support.

When I confronted the "Mowgly Run" seller about copyright issues, he asked me not to tell.

When I asked him to refund my money, his response has been hostile - he's been attacking me, as if I'm the code thief.

I'm just the guy that got ripped off - fair warning, unless you want a whole bunch of drama - I'd recommend stearing clear of this dude.

Default Proof

After I confronted the dev and reported him, and made the posting here and on another website - he then went and apparently got a license for Cave Run. That's coming from his own statement that I received just recently, but I think he actually did it - just by the way his attitude suddenly changed. He said something to the effect 'bad news' for me, because he's licensed now.

I don't get how that's bad news - sounds like good news.

So I guess that is some progress- at least for this one piece of code, in this one instance, he's gone and gotten a license - I can't speak for his other work.

It doesn't change the history of what happened, and the sheer drama of working with this guy.

But anyway - as far as proof, I do have the code he sent me, which has the copyright notice of the original author, I have his emails from him, the things he said - and if I obtain this new license agreement - it'll have a date showing he got that long after he made the sale to me. But I don't know what else I can do - start posting things here? Posting code seems problematic - yeah, I'd probably have to get a lawyer to get into all this, and make sure I'm not bringing an issue on myself.

So I'm going to wind this whole thing down.

I went public to warn people, because at the time, it seemed to me, he could defraud other people. But if he's gotten a license now, then there is only what he did to me.

if people want to deal with this guy, their choice,- of course, i still have a negative opinion and recommend against.

Default refund

I received a refund yesterday. I consider the matter resolved at this time.
