Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but might it just be free for the Canadian 'beta'? Don't see any 'OMGZ BUY COINZ PLX!' buttons in the screens at least.

Well, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, because it's Popcap. After all, Bejeweled Blitz is a free to play game.

I'm getting the impression this is MP only...is there a single-player mode?

Disappointed to see it's only Facebook or random opponents. Would be nice if it allowed matchmaking by a username or email like Songpop or any of the Zynga games, that's the one thing they get right.
