I don't think Dota would be good on a touch screen. Trying to move your character while positioning a spell is hard enough with a mouse and keyboard. There is a moba style game on IOS and it isn't very fun when your use to having a lot more precise control on the keyboard.

Gabe said exactly what I preach the hole damn Day:
The recent Tables (Windows 8/Android/iOS) have so much Power that you could run a lot of the recent Games on them if the Developer would finally stop supporting the older Devices and just stick to the newer Once and polish their Games just for those. Let`s just... ![]() ...that Gabe will port Dota 2 to the Tablets because I know at least of a few Folks that would throw their PC out of their Window if Dota 2 would run on their Tablets too. |

Last hitting would be impossible on a tablet, along with all the micro management...
Have you seen good Dota players? their hands never leave the keyboard. |

I really thought there wasn't a thread about it
But anyways, I can't wait! If it means more support coming from Valve it's gonna be awesome.

I would only be okay with this if they had a distinct separation between iPad/Tablet players and PC players...otherwise there'd be a huge advantage for the PC people.

They should make the original Half Life for the iPad.
