Dungeon Crawler Resources

Hi There,

I'm working on creating a simple 2.5d dungeon crawler, hack-in-slash, top down scroller, game. For a better idea of what I'm trying to do, look at Solomon's Boneyard .

My game will probably only have one character but will focus more on individual progression, rather than starting over each game. While this is pretty new to me I'm looking for any and all resources that you can suggest I look at while getting started.

I have little money and a pretty bad artist. Any suggestions on how I can get cheap or free graphic assets for the game?
