Trying to remember a game.

It featured a kid out in the winter, lost in a forest, and he had to get back to a cabin before a snow storm hit. It had 'retro' graphics, despite the game-play being 3D (Like Drakkan on the SNES). Oh yeah, the color pallet, for all intents and purposes, was white and varying shades of light grey. Any help is appreciated!

I'm looking for a racing game that came out about a month ago, you hit crates for power ups such as guns and missiles. It's not showing up in my purchased list and I can't remember the name.
