Considering that the last time this particular version was updated was almost exactly one year ago today, you shouldn't expect it to include support for the new resolution, no. :P

Also, for those who own an iPad and don't intend to play CoS on a smaller device, I suggest picking up City of Secrets HD instead, as that is a notably smaller file.
