Are you making the art yourself or do you have someone else to do it? Are the screenshots representative of the final look, or are they just placeholder art?
It's really hard to get feedback, especially from non-devs, when you dont have stuff that looks finalized and polished. I'd suggest starting off any publicity with either concept art, or mockups of what the final game will look like. Then be careful what you show after that. In-development stuff that doesnt look good might be understandable, but potential customers might not understand... and might think it's what the final game will look like.
