Enjoyed the lite version of this. Plus the filesize seems quite small which to me is important (as i have way too many apps/games on my ipod and not enough space !).

Cant beat a shooter like this, shall get this later. The relative touch worked well in the lite version

Oh yeah. I've been looking forward to this one the most.
The lite version is great, anyone on the edge ought to give that a shot first, don't think they'll be disappointed.

And it supports the iCade, which in itself is a major selling point.

We have developed shoot em up for many years, our shoot em ups are highly optimized. It consume small storage size, small runtime memory and small CPU usage. Enjoy it.

This is a very very solid shooter. I'm not a big fan if this genre much but this one game has that one more try factor big time. Fantastic game.

Oh, I'm just happy that you listened to my input and made my experience even better playing your game.

And it's out here in Denmark!
Downloading the full game while writing this.
I don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight.

Game Impressions

I've been playing this game for an hour now, and I'm very impressed!
Having only cleared the first two levels, this is my impressions of the game so far.

The graphics are top notch, the bullet patterns are challenging, but not imposing.
The bosses is very well made, and have great bullet patterns, the boss on the second stage is particularly great, as just when you think you've got it beat, it rolls over and expose a dangerous underbelly.

If the explosions in the first iStriker was beautiful, they are now beautifully glorious.

The overall challenge in the game is very good indeed, playing on easy is going to tax most if you want to 1CC the game, and on normal you've got your work cut out for you.
When you clear a stage, the next stage is unlocked, so the game will never get too hard for anyone.
I prefer to try and beat the game in one go eventually, and that's going to be a challenge.

I played with the iCade, and I played the Lite version with my 8-Bitty, and both works great, and in fact the difficulty is raised significantly if you play with the iCade, as your Chopper isn't moving as fast as when using touchscreen.
I really like it that it's got an arcade feel to it when playing with physical controls.

When I shifted to touch controls, I immediately felt the game became easier as the Chopper zips across the screen, weaving with easy between bullets following my finger precisely, (don't worry, the game is using relative touch).

Before the latests update to the Lite version, the touch controls felt more like the arcade controls, eg. my Chopper was a tad slower than now using touch controls and I liked that better personally, but some didn't, so it's ok, especially since the arcade speeds is there when using the iCade,

This game is one of the best Shmups on the AppStore in my opinion, and is highly recommended.

Info to the Shmup fanatics:
It's not a Bullet Hell Shmup, though the bosses have hints of Bullet Hell in their patterns. That doesn't mean that there isn't loads of bullets in screen all the time though, and the game is seriously hard on normal difficulty and above.
