Default Orion's Forge (by Trinket Studios)[Universal]

Hi Touch Arcade!

My name is Tom Eastman and I’m one of the cofounders of Trinket Studios, a new indie company in Chicago. We’re a trio of former Disney/Wideload (Guilty Party and Avenger’s Initiative: Hulk) devs. We released our first game, Color Sheep, last month!

On March 14th, we’ll be releasing our second iOS/Android title, Orion’s Forge, for $0.99. Orion’s Forge was selected for the PAX East Indie Showcase, where we’ll be showing it off (and in the Indie Megabooth as well)!

We hope you enjoy the game! We think you’ll find its relaxing tone, concise puzzles, and beautiful art perfect for moods that other mobile games ignore. We’re dedicated to making unique mobile games and Orion’s Forge is no exception!

*Help Starsmith Orion create constellations by launching stars!
*Reveal beautiful, hand-illustrated panels of fantastical and funny alien parables!
*Interact with physics and alien technology that challenge and perplex!
*Enjoy an upbeat and adaptive musical score that responds to your progress!

Have you ever wondered how constellations get their names? Here on Earth, constellations are based on human stories, but elsewhere in the galaxy constellations are built by Starsmith Orion! His job is to immortalize tales about basic morals we all share. Even though you may not be a Mierp or a Splib, you’ll probably recognize themes from your favorite fables.

Orion's Forge is a brain-teasing puzzle narrative where players help the celestial smith Orion create new stars. New stars are formed by guiding energy to each level’s launcher! Players manipulate the path of energy by moving magnetic towers around the forge. The towers come in two polarities: push and pull. Players carefully adjust the magnetic field to guide energy around obstacles like black holes. Later levels introduce new mechanics like portals and converter beams which toggle the polarity of towers that touch the beam. Each completed challenge adds a new star to an unfolding constellation and reveals the next portion of a whimsically illustrated alien fable.

Thanks
Trinket Tom
