Update submitted...

I just submitted update v1.0.4 to Multispace to Apple. Here's what's inside:

* Added V-Sync to settings
* Added Vertical Split to 2 Player Local Match
* Added a new physics object to editor (and Alien World 1): mine
* Added Generate button to level editor - it opens level generator settings window, and can be used to generate a new level inside the editor, as a starting point
* Added level generator settings window to Host-A-Game screen
* Added chat window to results screen
* Improved waiting screen
* ... and a bunch of bug fixes here and there

Also note that currently you cannot mix different versions in network play, everybody has to have the same version.

After the v1.0.4 update comes out I'll submit v1.0.5 update with the following stuff (and possible more, I'm currently working on this list):

* Filter settings window for match making match filtering
* Game AI controlled gun and missile turrets
* Decoration objects to editor, and some levels

+ a bonus: a new weapon!

Ugh...

Apple rejected our v1.0.4 update, because now they think that the Quit button on the Main Menu (was there in the previous release) is not appropriate. We'll take it away from iOS builds, and submit v1.0.5 update later today... I just hope you guys don't have to wait for another 6-7 days until Apple processes the update.

Thanks, I was having a rough day and now I see I'm not alone. Downloading just to support a hard working dev that's not shilling his game.

Thanks man! It's a bit irritating that Apple takes up to one week to approve (or reject) these updates while Android players can get their hands on the latest build in just a couple of hours... Multispace is so out-of-sync on iOS and Android, which is uncool as this game is a cross platform multiplayer game, and you need to have the same version of the game in all machines for them to see each other.

And v1.0.5 is out!

... even on iOS. Now you can play Multispace with your Android / Ouya owning friends, too, as v1.0.5 is out on all those platforms. After I recover from my appendix surgery I'll host a level design contest here.

A quick note

I'll submit an update to Multispace later today, when I have all working and tested. Along with the usual tweaks come UFOs - flying opponents for those boring moments when no human players are available for a game. This will be v1.0.6. Oh yes, and an unlockable new ship. More details later today or tomorrow.

In v1.0.7 or v1.0.8 will come AI controlled rocketships, so in the near future solo players will also get something to do.

Here's what will be in v1.0.6 of Multispace

* Added flying AI-enemies: UFOs to some levels, editor, and level generator.
* Added spawnpoints for UFOs.
* Removed ads!
* Added a fourth, unlockable rocketship.
* Added a feedback window that you can use to request features.
* Radar markers are now drawn on top of everything, and show the distance in meters.
* Rocketships now rotate when they thrust
* Plenty of GUI tweaks, enhancements, and bug fixes.

I'm about to submit the update, so I guess it'll take again one week from Apple to approve (or reject) the update.
