Default Iesabel, a cross platform hack and slash.



In the far lands of the South, in the sacred city of Yeroh, corruption spawned. The King was bewitched by a foreign princess so fair and beautiful, that he lost all reason and made her his wife. Since then Iesabel, who's heart is cold as ice and dark as the eternal night, reigns. And she brought forth the cult of her evil master, the insane god Baal. Darkness spilled forth into the world, bringing with it a tide of destruction and pain. It's waves reached even the far North, where in a one peaceful village of Slava your long and hard journey begins. So...

Save your prayers. No one's listening anymore.

Looks interesting, I will keep an eye out for it.
Do you have a release date planned already? Doesn't have to be specific, something like "end of this year" is fine. Just so I know when to turn the radar on again.

And one question:
In the trailer's gameplay parts, several times I saw what looked like serious lag / framerate issues. Does this come from the video/recording, or is Iesabel demanding enough on resources to cause that kind of problem?

Hi, Iesabel will be coming to all platforms in 2Q of 2013. So quite soon. I cannot give a specific date because it depends on our internal testing and speed of Apple review.

As for the lag. It is already mostly optimised and the final version will not have such issues. These clips were taken in an earlier version of the game.

Hi Michal,

thanks a lot for the heads up, will keep an eye out for this.
Good to hear the lags are/will be resolved.
Add that explanation to your first post, if you ask me. Not everyone looks past that and the trailer. Or replace the trailer, of course

And I know how it is with release date planning (work for a Software company myself), so I didn't ask for anything more specific than 2nd quarter or something like that

If you find the time, posting a progress update now and then generally generates positive feedback. A gameplay video here and there is extra candy.
Oh, and you might want to add a short game description, so folks know what to expect.

Good luck with the rest of the development process!

Just noticed you already have a few games under your belt, and won't need my earlier advice

I will have a look at your Teddy game, if it is something for my rugrat. 18 months now, what do you say as developer? Just checked the Appstore for it, and it seems a bit too complicated for a toddler at that age.

And out of curiosity: Is Iesabel the game with the 15-30k marketing budget you mentioned in another thread?
