IMO the UI and controls need some work. There's no explanation of the powerups, and not all of them have obvious effects. The text is in the pixel style and can be awfully hard to read, even on my iPad. The pause button gives no option to go back the main menu and start another challenge, and there's no explanation of what the difference is between those challenges. The controls are adequate, but you shoot automatically when you move. I would've preferred a floating d-pad and a shoot button.

The sound and visuals are spot on, though.
