Minter's upcoming 'TxK' ... for Vita

Can't wait for this. Minter has a lot of titles in the App Store, I'd love to see this one come over someday. Seems possible...

And so that brings us to our new project – TxK on the Playstation Vita.

We’re going to base it on the essence of the original T2K. It’ll be the pure, straightforward shooter that maybe you hoped for when you first saw Space Giraffe. We’re not going to overload you with ultra psychedelia, but we will make it fluid and colourful and awesome-looking on the Vita’s delicious, vibrant OLED screen. We’re going to give you a perfect treat for your eyes, ears and thumbs with a modern extrapolation of one of the best shooters ever made on hardware that’s just perfectly suited for it, and in a way that retains the purity of the original design.

I may end up buying a Vita because of this, though that seems crazy. On the plus side I have PS+ and "free" games for Vita in my account, so I'd also have a bunch of other games to play without paying any more.

Nice. Vita needs games, mines been collecting dust for a while now. I would also love to see GoatUp on the vita, the first one.

Favorite games: LittleWing Crystal Caliburn, Legends of Yore, Hook Worlds, Phoenix HD, DoDonPachi Resurrection, Spectral Souls, Bastion, Avadon, Dariusburst SP, Aquaria, King of Dragon Pass & Starbase Orion

Unfortunately Minter is frustrated with (lack of) returns on iOS and Android games, so iOS is just a maybe for him from here on out. Also there may be licensing issues with TxK that Sony is helping with? Not sure.

He'd be several £s richer if he opted for a crisp, C64/ZX style!
