Hi,

Just wanted to announce that my new strategy game Coastal Command has been released!

The game is little different than iPad games usually. I wanted to create a complex strategy game for iPad in naval setting. It has no in-app purchases you buy it once and that's it. I'm not a fan of the current trend for freemium games.

Here's gameplay video:

I would really appreciate your opinions of the game

This looks good, normally I'd wait for a sale and get it cheaper but a dev that dislikes freemium and iap's?

That deserves rewarding, buying it as soon as I get home with a new iTunes card tonight

This does look good but its been an expensive week and a bit for iOS games for me and I haven't even had time to play them all yet so I'll keep an eye on this one for now and see what people's impressions are.

I have watched the video, and to me it looks more like a TD title than an RTS, but regardless - it looks great and very polished.

Bought! Its a TD game. Love the graphics, looks very cool. Lots of customization possible. But best of all: its just 42Mb installed and no IAP!!!

Sad to read its a TD and not an RTS.

Not a fan of TD games tbh and there seems to be 10 billion of them atm.
I'm not sure now.

Hehe, at first glance I thought this was going to be similar to Leviathan:Warships but with retro "battlezone" graphics . Lately I've been kinda tired of TDs, but Coastal Command has me interested. There seems to be a lot of polish and tweaks put into the game, and as others have mentioned, no IAPs. Looks cool, hopefully I can give it a spin too tonight.

I personally love TD games and devs who aren't afraid to charge for their game instead of IAP. Happily purchased, I'll leave some feedback tomorrow.

Yep it's a tower defense game. Sorry should have put that to the title. I know it's quite popular genre right now but I like TD games myself so I wanted to create a game that I would play :P Also I tried to make it a bit more advanced than TD games usually. For example you can upgrade different parts of the turrets separately and you also have to extend your radar network before you can build turrets etc.
