Kingturn Underworld [Sept/Oct 2013]

Kingturn Underworld is expected to iOS around September or October of 2013. It is a prequel to Kingturn and Kingturn Plus but my personal favorite game in the trilogy.

Kingturn Underworld has a 4.7 out of 5 user rating on Google Play out of 42 reviews.

Here are links to Touch Arcade forum discussion of previous Mangobile games:

'Kingturn RPG - A Brilliant Tactical Battle Game' [TouchArcade review]

If you haven't played any of our titles, yet, you might want to try our free versions Kingturn Lite or Kingturn RPG Plus first.

Kingturn Underworld marks the 1st chapter of our Kingturn trilogy, and comprises 74 scenarios where you can take over control of undead and monsters.
Kingturn Underworld supports new character classes like Thieves, Lizards, Demons, or Heretics, as well as new weapons and armor, new environments and new sound tracks.

Kingturn Trilogy Overview
---------------------------------
Chapter 1 - The rise of King Constantin (Kingturn Underworld RPG)
Chapter 2 - The rule of King Constantin (Kingturn RPG)
Chapter 3 - The fall of King Constantin (Kingturn RPG Plus)

All titles have independent story lines and can be played in arbitrary order.

Story - Chapter 1
--------------------------
Juliet, necromancer and daughter of Overlord Xanthus, finds herself forced to flee the Underworld after a rebellion of her father's minions. Struggling to survive on Andaria's hostile surface, she has to take unusual measures to get things under control ...

Concept
-----------
The game combines outpost conquering with tactical combat and a complex unit skill system.
Embedded in a compelling medieval fantasy story with quirky characters, the player can delve into this old school tactics RPG for many hours.

Tutorial
-----------
If you are new to our SRPG series, you might want to watch the video tutorial first:

Juliet - New Look

Juliet, the female protagonist of Kingturn Underworld will get a slightly different look (compared to the screen shots you might have seen so far).

Thanks a lot to Mephala for helping us find a new look that is more appropriate for a (half-human) necromancer. Juliet's new appearance should also make it easier to connect with her.

Alas blue hued Juliet (central on the top post Kingturn Underworld logo), we hardly knew ye...

Classic Knighturn Juliet was always so delightfully eerie; she definitely stands out in the trilogy and is my favorite hero character so far (Eugene from plain Kingturn is second):

It would be humorous if there was a tongue-in-cheek subquest level "battle of the juliets" with the different incarnations facing off so the blue artwork wouldn't go to waste and it might be surreal/existential.

There sure are some colorful characters in Kingturn Underworld:

I will probably be able to announce the release of Kingturn Underworld very soon.
We had a few minor bug reports from our beta testers, but the bugs should be almost entirely fixed now.
Problem was also that a full play through of Kingturn Underworld takes quite some time now, especially with the newly added 'hardcore' campaign 'Ten years later'. Some of our beta-testers are still struggling with the difficulty of these add-on scenarios, exactly as it should be .

Awh, didn't know you were already betatesting. Next time shoot me an email or PM, will ya?
And hardcore campaign sounds good, something more challenging is always nice.
