Mental hospital I thought is superb. A lot of 'jump' moments specially in the dark with headphones on

Not a mention of Telltale's The Walking Dead? >:|

Also, you might want to checkout the most atmospheric runner on the appstore... Into the Dead

Twisted Lands: Insomniac. Half the time is spent in a hospital, half in memories and hallucinations. Very effective - it reminds me of those surreal Italian horror movies... Suspiria? The one catch: you really should play the first game in the series, Shadow Town, first. The reason is that insomniac revisits thatbstory from a different perspective, and it's quite a mind trip when it turns out that what was actually going on in a scene is completely different than what you thought in the first game. Also, the first game has a fantastic twist ending that completely changes the meaning of your adventure, and insomniac explores the implications of that ywist, spoiling it from scene 1.

Shadow Town got middling reviews at release, but I was p,easantly surprised. As long as you're willing to use the hint button for navigation (it recharges instantly when used for that purpose) I rate it a 4 out of 5. Insomniac is a 5. There's a third game in the series, which I haven't started yet.

Hysteria project 1 (I wouldn't recommend the sequel though).
