Default Teslapunk - Free Shmup for iOS & Android

Teslapunk is a new shoot'em up for iOS and Android systems. Play as Nikola Tesla and fight against Dr. Mabuse in this dark retro future.

The game offers Classic arcade game action with high resolution graphics. All the art is created by the award winning artist Thorsten Fleisch.

The Gameplay focuses on fast paced action and score competition. It also features a dynamic difficulty system. In short: The higher you get the multiplier, the harder becomes the game. Appearing enemies and attack patterns will alternate in real time, depending on your performance. A risk vs reward system, with high replay value.

Or, if you just want to play for survival you can keep the multiplier low. This way you will score less, but will get further into the game.

It's nice to see this one come out today. Are the IAP for added content or modes, or something else?

The game has 2 modes with seperate IAPs. Because these two modes are completely independent from each other.

Arcade Mode in-app purchases:
-Continues (But when you use a continue, it will reset your score. So there is no Pay2Win)
-Credits (You use a credit each time you play the Arcade mode. You start off with 25 credits. Once you run out of credits the game will automatically regenerate up to 5 credits every few hours. So you never need to pay.)

Survival Mode in-app purchases:
-Coins. (You collect these coins in game, too. You use them to level your ship up and buy items.)
-New Ships. (this is new content, you can't get without paying.)

About the free to play strategy:
For the arcade mode using some kind of credits seemed to be the strategy that I consider the most fair deal. Because it is pretty close to how games in arcades make money. Just way more generous. The intention was to have an 100% even playfield, like in real arcade games. How well you score is only depending on your performance.

The survival mode is inspired by endless runner games. You collect coins on every play and part of the fun is the RPG-alike leveling. Buying coins can shortcut you this leveling process.

So basically it is like 2 games in 1.
