Hey puzzle lovers, and other lovers of Touch Arcade!
I'd like to announce the appearance of my new iPhone and iPod Touch puzzle game called Rotix! Described as a cross between Rubik's Cube and Lights Out with a new twist, Rotix will satisfy your puzzle cravings. In Rotix, you tap on the gears to spin the colored tiles around them. Match the tiles with the guide and win! The gameplay is so intuitive that it takes a new player seconds to grasp and play. However, there is so much depth that you will be discovering new ways to solve each puzzle everytime you play. FEATURES - Extremely easy to learn, yet fun and hard to master. - Quick to pick up and play, resume anytime you like. Your progress is automatically saved. - 45 levels of addictive brain teasers. - Beautiful steam punk styled art and magical glowing puzzle pieces! - Fun sound effects and music. - Play your own music while you play the game. Just turn the game sounds off at the main menu, start your music, and restart the game. - Relax, there's no time limit or restrictions, just play at your own pace! - Unlock trophies with the achievement system. Try to get all the Gold Trophies. Every move counts! - Hard challenge mode for puzzle masters that will make you treasure every tap you make. This mode will push your puzzle solving skills to the limit. Don't say we didn't warn you. - Many different solutions to every puzzle, develop your own techniques! Do you have what it takes to be a Rotix champion? Welcome to TA
![]() Your game looks good And nice touch on the name lol (Rotix = Rubiks Cube + Lights Out)Edit: Oh ya, if you still have promo codes I'd love to be one of the 5 lucky posters ![]() Edit 2: I realized that there is no par assigned for the levels. Shouldn't there be a minimum number of moves for every level? So this would defeat the purpose of the highscore (since there is actually a highest score, i mean lowest number of moves). looks interesting... do you plan to integrate any gaming network to your game? I see as it has already trophies, it wont hard to convert them to achievements

Looks pretty cool. I'm interested to see how well it actually plays. Looks like it might get frustrating, though.

I don't know if I'm late, but I love puzzles. I'd love a chance to play!!
Edit : does it have an undo? I think fo low scores, you have to be able to go foward, and backward, unless it counts against you to rethink the puzzle? Looks very nice with the Steampunk style. Last edited by pluto6; 09-04-2009 at 07:36 AM. |

The graphics look very polished with their steam punk style and the gameplay itself seems pretty fun and challenging. I think the Rubik's Cube and Lights Out hybrid is an interesting concept that looks like it works really well.
I'd love a promo code to try it out!

Well depending on how you do this I'm going to gather that I'm not very lucky, since I'm poster 7 or 8, but this game looks sweet. Games where you have to match patterns in tiles are usually pretty cool anyway, and the whole "block rotation" thing is a nice twist. Not to mention the fact that the visuals look really polished.
