QuickWidgets - handy and usefull mini apps on your LockScreen

QuickWidgets is a new app from iSoft Team. Their apps are iModem, mySMS and QuickSMS.

QuickWidgets is one app from package QuickBoard. Now QuickBoard is contains from 4 apps. There sre QuickSMS, QuickBirthday, Calendar and QuickWidgets.

How it works? It is very simple.

You install QuickBoard from Cydia and some standart widgets are appeard on your LockScreen.
You can set such Widgets as Events, Notes, QuickReply, Dial, Google Search, Camera, Calendar, Clock, Weather and Flashlight. Some new and cool widgets will be appeard in future. The widgets could be moved, switch on/off all or by separatelly, changed in size, changed the color of fon.
To set the widgets press widget and hold it untill it will not to shake, double tap is change the size, red dot opens the settings of this widget (for quickreply or weather)

This looks cool, will have to check it out. Not much of a fan of Intelliscreen.

Installing it now - I'll post my thoughts on Monday after giving it a test drive. I used Lockscreen with a ton of modifications, and it was cool. Since upgrading I didn't feel like trying to figure out everything I did to get it working the first time. This looks better anyway.

I noticed the repo is labeled "beta", will this still be free when it is out of beta stage?

Yep, QuickWidgets will be free.
We plan to release only one paid widget — QuickDial.

In neares plans — impoving 'Events' widgets, more settings, some new widgets (twitter, wiki search, some other). Bug fixes.


And yep, you can assign widgets screen on any hot key and run it over any application.
Just go to the settings —> QuickBoard —> Hot Keys

I run QuickWidgets by double tap on status bar.

Yep, and i will be glad for any skin ideas and free icons — we have lack of design skill in us

looks pretty good so far! the only major problem I have noticed so far is the fact that landscape keyboard does not work for my bitesms on lockscreen. The quickboard keyboard overlaps with that of bitesms in landscape mode causing problems with typing in landscape mode for bitesms

Hi,

I downloaded this today and am rather confused.

After installing and respringing, I went to the app and when I click on an icon, I am presented with having to get a trial license or buy each widget.

Not my idea of free.
