Btw, 4.19$ in NZ-store seems very cheap......... not that i´m complaining though |

Well I have caught about a dozen fish and won 3 tournaments. Its been a long time since I played it but this seems a lot easier than Flick Fishing so far, have yet to lose a fish. Casting is easier as well and only requires a gentle flick. On screen line tension meter and directional guidance work well and there is a spoken commentary to guide you although sometimes it will tell you that your fish is heading to the left when it is actually heading back to the right.
A new invitation to a tournament seem to come in straight after you have completed one, so far have fished in the Bahamas and The Waikato River in New Zealand. Graphics are typical Gameloft, with good animation and color in both location scenery and underwater settings and all seems to flow smoothly on touch 2G. Tackle, bait and lures can be upgraded with fish dollars won from tournaments with new kit unlocked by winning tournaments. There is a diary that records your biggest and smallest catch as well as a running total of your catch count and total weight caught, your achievements and a leaderboard. A guide that displays info on the types of fish you have caught and what bait you used, and a PDA for receiving tournament invites. All up so far it all works faultlessly and is quite enjoyable and is a good solid fishing game for the price, I hope it gets a little more challenging as it progresses. |
