Pretty much free only. There are IAPs to breed your frog faster and other stuff but so far they dont seem like extremely required. Quite a bit better than ngmoco's FREEmium titles IMO. Does this game have a finite number of IAPs, or is it one of those games where you use up whatever it is that you buy and then have to invest more? If it's finite, can anybody give a total cost to purchase all of the possible IAP packs?
