Could you let us know about the framerate? I can try it in the next hours. Thanks!

I am told that the collision detection and controls aren't great. If you were looking to buy, you might want to hold off for a few other opinions.

The screenshots sure look great but the video shows a somewhat asthmatic framerate.

I, too, would like to know more about this before I press the buy button

Game Impressions

While I feel like I'm going to need a little more time with this game to fully put it through its paces, first impressions are definitely not good.

Frame rate is middling to poor. Better with touch controls where the horizon remains fixed, and significantly worse with tilt where the game insists on tilting the horizon as well with no option to turn it off (that option needs to be added ASAP.) To make matters worse, the draw distance is poor as well, with objects and the farther track sections both obscured by "fog" as well as subject to constant pop-in. With that being the case, AND with literally next to zero objects outside the track, there's simply no excuse for the frame rate to be what it is and reeks of bad/sloppy programming.

Car handling is passable but again far from ideal. It feels like the car is "sliding" left and right along the track as opposed to having realistic grip/traction. If you are hoping for Stunt Car Racer feel, it simply is not there. Neither is there anywhere near the degree of polish and attention to detail of Jet Car Stunts.

Collision detection is a problem. On one occasion while heading for the top of an arch I somehow managed to sail clear through it.

Crashes are underwhelming and generally unconvincing.

Have I forgotten anything? Don't think so thus far. Overall - a disappointment. Passable to average at best, on every count. Not a lost cause, as with a LOT of improvements this could definitely be brought up to par, and even higher, but it is so far from that right now, it simply strikes me as too much of a job for these devs to pull off on what I've seen thus far. Would love to be proven wrong.

@Gabrien ... i bought this on sight this morning when i saw the tweet from the dev that it might be out early but i didn't have time before work to give it a spin so i'm kinda gutted now that you're giving it such a bad review..... only can hope the dev's paying attention and can do something about it

Feel free to add me.
