For once I might miss out an iPad Gameloft release. The trailer video simply suggests to me that this has the usual gameloft framerate issue. It certainly doesnt look smooth, and it looks like it uses the same engine as Iron Man 2 and Hero of Sparta 2 which was pretty jerky in places.

played the iphone version, the game is actually pretty good. the story is nice. the usual spiderman voiceover and fight moves. although im kinda bummed about the no free-roam or no free-websling.

but yeah. uses the same engine as iron man 2 and hero of sparta. so. expect the usual jerky animations. and the "feel" that everyone is made out of paper

Seriously? The iPhone version looks and plays awesome. One of my most anticipated games for the iPad, hands down.

But there's frame rate issues with many Gameloft HD games and not only Gameloft, I noticed for example Need for Speed Shift HD and other.

So often the iphone version of intensive 3D games end be better on the iPad.

I was totally disinterested in this game...

Then today I decided what the heck and downloaded the lite iPhone versions of Spider Man and Splinter Cell Conviction.

I was so impressed by Spider Man, that I'm totally eager for it to arrive in the US AppStore. Must buy.

Not so much for Splinter Cell. Didn't like it at all.

So....
