Default Toy Balls! HD

Youtube link | Pop Up

This game kicks ass!

If not clear from the video, you're tasked with drawing a connecting path through multiple same type balls. If you are able to eliminate enough groups of them before any of your balls touch the zapper you'll successfully complete the level. Since getting a group of 6 at once is worth MUCH MORE than simply getting two groups of 3, the trick appears to be making chains as long as possible which is often easier said then done as the balls are almost constantly in motion. So even if an early level is quite easy to complete, getting a high enough score to qualify than more than a single star out of three can be quite tricky.

There is also the fun dynamic that each level brings via its zapper which will require you to be ever mindful of which of your balls might be straying to close to the danger zone ("Sure, matching 3 baseballs in that lower right corner was a pretty feeble point maneuver compared to that possible 9 basketball chain, but had you not made that match quickly right then the scale would have tipped into the zapper and ended the run").

There is also an HD version available which is the one I played to leave this review! As far as I know it is identical but with nicely rescaled HD graphics.

A must for fans of clever physics match 3s!
5/5

That sure is one unique match 3 game. Not really into this genre but this game looks like worth a try.

Hi. First let us thank you for your effort beta testing our app.
The app is not as hard as you may think, since we have made changes before releasing it.
Email us to send you a promo code to see for yourself.

Maybe it was not clear from my smiley ... I am actually happy about its difficulty!! I hope it was not dumbed down too much.
Impressions from the build played are very positive. Good mechanics, great challenge and fun. I find it rather original. In fact it is one of the best games I have tested since last summer (ok I only test 40, but still) and the only bets I am still playing even if the beta test is over!

I do not understand how come this game has passed with no comments. It is a nice game (word of a beta tester) combining physics and match3 concepts with fun art and challenging environments.

As I had already commented to the dev, I love how the contraptions in each level seem so believable...like with enough boards, rubber bands, and pulley systems you could make these surreal levels yourself.

A bug zapper powerful enough to instantly disintegrate any ball touching whether it is made of rubber or plastic either doesn't exist or you'll need all sorts of special permits to have one.
