You guys should really consider an endless mode with rounds for coop. That would add ALOT of replayability and adds to the games value.
Yes to this. And if you guys wanted to take it even further, you could add in a 2v2 versus mode where 2 people play as actual people, while the other two play as zombies. There would also be normal AI zombies attacking, but the 2 player-controlled zombies could be like bosses. Just think of the L4D versus multiplayer mode.

To add even further to replayability you should implement some sort of rare drops from mobs and bosses. Dead island have successfully merged loot hunting, coop and zombies in a great mix. rare drops could be weapons with different skins, add ons for the weapons or new clothes. Different difficulty levels for highscore lists and higher chance of loot would be awesome as well. Just keep true the stress feeling of zombie games
Re Hey guys, Just a quick update. We are stll aiming for fall 2011, but at the same time we will not release until the game is 100% awesome sauce, which, it will be. The good news is we are kicking major butt right now as far as development goes. We have listened to the community, and are currenly redoing ALL our characters for the entire game.. You guys will be blown away. To give you an example, here is one of our new and improved 'flesh eater' models.. Cheers!

Hey guys! We are almost done recreating ALL of our characters in the game, including the hero, the flesh eaters, the caretaker, the toad, lazyeye, and all the others. We will have a new gameplay trailer up within the next week, ill be sure to post it here as soon as its done! In the mean time, here is the finished sculpt of the new caretaker, you can compare the new with the old below to get an idea of the level of quality our new character models have over the old.
