I am happy to tell you that I've sent about 50 or so emails! Couldn't send to everybody even if I wanted to. Apple only allow certain number of test devices. Can't wait for your feedback!!! Mr. Broken Record here! Will this have some decent randomization like any of the good traffic control games or will the soldier spawn points as well as the soldiers' patrol paths be scripted?
just because I know you will get it all eventually, different maps, with maybe land obstacles (mountains/hils slow you down, rivers make you faster, swamps hide you etc.) more enemies/guards(longer range/ slower movement, line sight, half circle sight etc.) a fast forward button would not be a bad idea but I don't think it is really necessary. Also I think the line should represent the soldiers color, red line for medics, green for soldiers etc. also I think the lines should be a bit larger so they are easier to see. And I just had a green soldier go through the guard with the hound without being killed, it was about 3 seconds after the guard had killed one of my other soldiers and it had changed from red scope to green a few seconds before. This was in the upper right corner right when the first yellow soldier showed up on the other side.
Hey guys, I played for a few minutes and wanted to leave my first impressions. Tested on an iphone 3G, os 3.0.1. Current Highscore 18. First, I love the idea to combine the line drawing game with a commando/MGS king of game. The graphics are really nice, running smoothly on my device, the icon is great. I am curious about other players scores, since I seem to run out of time very fast. I must say that when things get tricky (with the 3rd guard) i tend to make safe paths all the time following the borders of the screen. Obviously this is not the shortest way, and it is not very exciting either. I noticed you could lie down, but I really don't see how you can use it without loosing too much time to get a reasonable score... I didn't notice any bugs for now, touch works fine, sight area of the guards is responsive but not unfair (you're not seen, even on the very border of the green area). All in all it is already totally playable and quite polished. Ok, i'm getting back to it now!
so when you tap them doesn that mean you cant be seen when the view is on you?? Thats cool. i thought it was just to stop without ruining their path.
